Poem: Through Darkness (Keep Moving)

Face the darkness, do not flee;
Meet these creatures daunting and glooming gaze.
Soldier through with discipline, endure the attack with strength;
Carry on, because through this hell, you will find your grail.

Keep moving despite your restless mind.
And If pain and fear for a moment pin you down,
let these words awaken you,
and rise once more into the fight.

Don’t let them numb you,
don’t let them tempt you with shiny things;
These daemons are deceptive,
they will lure you, they will try to break you apart.

Remain pure intellect;
Don’t overthink, don’t become your feelings.
If you let them fool you,
they will make your escape sound wise.

Be not forlorn, you are not alone;
The angels fight beside you.
Through their light you will see the path;
Keep moving forward, you are so close.

Don’t you ever surrender.
